How is BizCLIR different from the Doing Business Report?
Information about BizCLIR and the BizCLIR methodology can be found
here. The link between BizCLIR and Doing Business is explained
here.
Where does information on each country page come from?
Country pages are populated with general information in the country’s assessment. As such, the information for Albania comes from the 1999 Albania Assessment and the information for Rwanda comes from the 2008 Rwanda Assessment. Country information is not continually updated, but generally reflects the key political and economic trends in that country.
How is content assigned to different topics or countries?
When content is added to the website, each piece of content is tagged to the relevant topic(s) and country(ies). Those pieces of content will show up along the right hand column on each page with which they are associated.
What are the ‘Related Topics’?
Before BizCLIR migrated to using the ten Doing Business indicators, the CLIR methodology (“Commercial, Law, and Institutional Reform”), consisted of fifteen indicators. Most of the country reports completed before 2007 were conducted using a subset of these CLIR topics, which we refer to as Related Topics. On each Doing Business Topic page, you’ll find the associated Related Topics in the right hand column and may click on each for more information.
